SOFAZ reduces share of Turkish lira in investment portfolio

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has reduced the percentage of the Turkish lira in its investment portfolio in 2021, Report informs, referring to the Fund.
At the end of last year, SOFAZ's investment portfolio amounted to $ 45.024 billion, 3.35% more than the previous year.
The US dollars account for 69% of the Fund's investments, one percentage point more than a year ago. In the reporting period, the share of the euro in the investment portfolio fell from 20.3% to 19.5%, the British pound dropped from 5.3% to 5.1%, the Australian dollar remained unchanged at 0.6%, the Turkish lira declined from 0.7% to 0.4%, while the Russian ruble rose from 0.5% to 0.6%, the Chinese yuan was left unchanged at 1.3%, the Japanese yen slipped from 1.5% to 1.4%, other foreign currencies went up from 1.8% to 2.1%.
