SOFAZ places 69% of investment portfolio in USD

As of April 1, 2021, the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan’s (SOFAZ) amounted to $42.761 billion, Report informs referring to the Fund.

Of this, 68.6% was in USD, up 2.6 percentage points in comparison to a year earlier. Investments in EUR dropped from 22.9% to 19.7%, while GBP investments rose from 4.8% to 5.2%.

As for other currencies, AUD made up 0.6%, TRY – 0.8%, RUB – 0.5%, CNY – 1.3%, JPY – 1.5%, other currencies – 1.3%.
