SOFAZ increases dollar share in its investment portfolio

In the third quarter of this year, the volume of the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) amounted to $55.523 billion, which is $10.137 billion or 22.33% more than in the previous year, Report informs referring to SOFAZ.

At the same time, in the structure of the investment portfolio, 70.3% of funds are placed in US dollars (0.5% less than in 2022), 19.2% in euros (0.2% more), 4.9% in pounds sterling (+0.2%), 0.6% in Australian dollars (share unchanged), 0.2% in Turkish lira (share decreased from 0.4% to 0.2%), 0.2% in Russian rubles (share decreased from 0.4% to 0.2%), 1% in Chinese yuan (share decreased from 1.2 to 1%), 1.4% in Japanese yen (share increased from 1.1%), 2.2% in other currencies (share increased from 1.8%).
