Shareholders of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) reduced

Baku. 26 February. REPORT.AZ/ As Bank VTB 24 (Russia), which controls 48.99% shares of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) OJSC, has withdrawn from Bank VTB (Russia) and suspended since early this year, its share in the Azerbaijani bank automatically passed to the Bank VTB (Russia) with a legal succession.

Report informs, the matter is about 124 496 737 nominal, registered, non-documentary shares with nominal value of 0.2 manats each.

Thus, the number of shareholders of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) has fallen from 3 to 2, and share of Bank VTB (Russia) has risen to 99.99%. The remaining 0.01% belongs to Adigozal Aghayev (Chairman of AtaHolding Management Board). 

Notably, Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) was founded in 2009 on the basis of AF Bank OJSC having operated since 2003. Its authorized capital is 50 815 mln AZN.
