Share of pound sterling and yuan in SOFAZ's investment portfolio up

As of July 1, 2024, the value of the investment portfolio of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) amounted to $57.93 billion; $3.02 billion or 5.5% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing SOFAZ.
Currently, 69.2% of SOFAZ's investments are in US dollars, 0.4 percentage points less than a year ago. The share of the euro in the investment portfolio fell from 19.6% to 19.5%.
During the reporting period, the share of the British pound in the investment portfolio increased by 0.1 percentage points to 5%.
The share of the Japanese yen remained unchanged at 1.4%, while the share of Chinese yuan increased from 1% to 1.4%.
At the same time, the share of other foreign currencies in the investment portfolio of SOFAZ increased from 2.5% to 3.5%.
