Share of long-term instruments in SOFAZ investment portfolio reaches 20%

As of July 1 this year, the share of bonds and other money market instruments placed for more than five years in the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) amounted to 19.8%, which is 2.9 percentage points more year-on-year.

Report informs referring to SOFAZ that at the end of June, 30.4% of bonds and other money market instruments, in which SOFAZ invested, were placed for up to one year. This is 6.3 percentage points less year-on-year.

During the reporting period, 32.2% of bonds and other money market instruments in which the fund invested were placed for a period of 1 to 3 years (an increase of 7.3 percentage points), and 17.6% for a period of 3 to 5 years (decrease by 3.9 percentage points).
