Samir Sharifov: 89% of total income falls to share of Baku

Finance Minister Samir Sharifov today attended an online meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship, Report informs referring to the parliamentary press service.

Underscoring that some of the issues raised on procurement do not satisfy the government, the minister said that work is underway to improve this sector.

According to the minister, 88.8% of the total income falls to the share of Baku, 11.2% to districts and a certain part of the income of the districts remains with them. He also noted that the government gives preference to electric and hybrid vehicles when renewing the vehicle fleet and announced incentive measures provided in this direction.
