Sahib Alekperov: "There is a need to reduce the amount of secret information" - EXCLUSIVE

Work is under way to create a Unified Information System between state agencies, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Taxes Sahib Alakbarov said in an exclusive interview with Report.

According to Alakbarov there is a need to reduce the amount of secret information.

"One must bear in mind that each body has its own anonymous information. Transparency is very good and one of the main reasons for the results obtained is paperwork, transparency. But there is some secret information relating to tax. The dissemination of this information is prohibited by the law. Or the State Statistical Committee has some statistical secret. Of course, we should try to cover the full range of transparency and minimize the amount of secret information. At present, the work on the Unified Information System is going on, hopefully it will be resolved soon," Alakbarov said.
