On Novruz holidays US-dollar rate to be stable - FORECAST

Baku. 18 March. REPORT.AZ/ On holidays a rush onorganized currency market of Azerbaijan is not expected. Report informs, although in today's currency auction the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has put up for sale 100 million USD, the demand of commercial banks was only 34.3 mln USD (34,3%).

Analytical Group of Report News Agency believes that the commercial banks have provided themselves with US-dollar stock at the previous auction, considering the population's demand the currency. It means that on holidays demand for the dollar will remain stable, sharp fluctuations are not expected.

The course will remain in the range of 1,58-1,62 AZN/USD.
