Nearly 65,000 contracts on compulsory insurance of civil liability of car owners registered last month

Baku. 1 December. REPORT.AZ/ In November, 2016, information system of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) has been registered 64 961 contracts on compulsory insurance of civil liability of car owners.

Report informs referring to the BCI, 12,707 contracts on vehicles registered abroad and imported to Azerbaijan for transit purposes. During the period, amount of insurance payments under standard and border security contracts made over 5,2 mln. AZN.

The number of insurance contracts decreased year on year by 12.1%, the sum - by 14.5%.

The average fee decreased by 2.5% - to 80.3 AZN.
