MONEYVAL to assess measures to combat money laundering in Azerbaijan

An assessment mission of the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism – MONEYVAL will visit Azerbaijan March 1-15, Report informs referring to the Financial Monitoring Service.

This became known at a meeting of the Coordinating Council, established by the Cabinet of Ministers on October 21, 2020 No. 404 in order to prepare for the 5th round of evaluation work carried out by MONEYVAL in Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, the participants were informed about the status of implementation of the Action Plan of the Coordinating Council, approved on June 23, 2022, and the members of the Council exchanged views on current issues on the agenda.
