Investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan made 2,206.9 million manats ($1.3 billion) in January-February 2023, marking a 60.1% growth over 2022, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, investments in the oil and gas sector increased by 2.4%, and the non-oil-and-gas sector surged by 2.3 times.
During the reporting period, 1,125.5 million manats ($0.66 billion), or 51%, were made in production, 968.5 million manats ($569.7 million), or 43.9%, in services, 112.9 million manats ($66.4 million), or 5.1%, in housing construction.
Domestic funds constituted 1,657.3 million manats ($0.97 billion) (75.1%) of the funds directed to fixed capital, and construction and installation work amounted to 1,626.4 million manats ($0.96 billion) (73.7%).
