Dollar stable against euro, yen ahead of Fed head’s speech

The dollar exchange rate changed little against other major world currencies in anticipation of the speech of the head of the US Federal Reserve System (FRS) Jerome Powell, Report informs referring to the auction data.

The euro exchange rate against the dollar remained at the level of the last close of $1.073. The dollar against the yen decreased to 132.39 yen from 132.65 yen. The dollar index (the exchange rate against a basket of currencies of six US trading partners) fell by 0.12% to 103.5 points.

Foreign currency investors are waiting for the comments of the head of the Fed regarding the further course of the monetary policy of the regulator.
