Deutsche Bank: USD/Euro rate will exceed 1.20 level next year

Baku. 21 December. REPORT.AZ/ This year, despite the strengthening of the euro against U.S. dollar this year it is forecasted that the increase will continue in 2018 and will exceed 1.20 USD/EUR.

Report informs citing the Forexpf.ru, Deutsche Bank analysts said.

According to forecast, "USD/EUR exceeds the level of 1.17 which is our target for 2017, and this dynamics can continue. Political uncertainty in Germany can eventually lead to the formation of the Big Coalition. Impulse of currency pair is very high. This year the USD/EUR has grown by 14%. But this is not an extreme figure. Thus, the index of average trading has increased by 9% this year. Our target for late 2018 is 1.20 USD/EUR level. Perhaps, the exchange rate will exceed that level”.

"The euro has returned to its fair exchange rate. Since the share of euro in global players' portfolios is low, demand is growing. We still do not see the negative impact of the stronger euro on the European economy. The first interest rate of the European Central Bank (ECB) is also expected in 2020”, experts said.
