New sanctions against Russian banks are no longer perceived as a shock event and do not create systemic risks, the head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said at a meeting organized by the Russian Association of Banks, Report informs.
“The recent addition of new banks to the sanctions lists is no longer perceived as a shock event and does not create systemic risks,” she said.
At the end of February, Russia’s Alfa-Bank, Rosbank and Tinkoff Bank were blacklisted by the 10th package of EU sanctions.
