Central Bank increases auction budget by 33%

Baku. 15 February. REPORT.AZ/ Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) again increased amount of funds wanted to attract in deposit auction held once a week.

Thus, the bank intends to collect 200 mln USD in deposit auction on February 17. However, the figure was 150 mln USD at the auction on February 13. In other words, budget of the deposit auction increased by 33.3%.

Notably, at last auction demand exceeded supply by 31,33% (197 mln AZN), therefore, Central Bank decided to revise deposit target.
