CBA chairman: "Interests in interbank money market increased"

In April 2020, the annual interest in the interbank money market made up 8%, up 4 percentage points from the previous month, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov said at the press conference.

Moreover, according to him, the consumption loans are decreasing, while business loans are increasing in Azerbaijan: "However, the coronavirus pandemic affects Azerbaijan's economy. Trade, tourism and other fields faced decline."
