A panel session at the annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is discussing the role of regional cooperation in strengthening CAREC’s links with global value chains in advancing the climate agenda, according to Report’s correspondent from Tbilisi.
The seminar will examine the possibilities of mobilizing funding and supporting the preparation of regional climate-related projects.
CAREC is a regional cooperation program that aims to expand trade in the region and improve business competitiveness in member countries through regional projects in transport, trade facilitation, energy, trade policy and economic corridors.
On behalf of Azerbaijan, Minister of Finance and Managing Director of the ADB from the country, Samir Sharifov, is participating in the session.
