BSE turnover drops 21%

In January-April 2019, deals closed on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 5,987,879,000, down 21.4% from the previous year, Report informs.
The number of deals closed year-on-year decreased by 26.3% to 28,866.
Government securities constituted 78.2% or AZN 4,684,141,000 of the BSE turnover, up 30% in comparison to a year earlier.
Deals on share market rose by 17.4-fold to AZN 972,000, on bond market fell by 49.4% to AZN 104.395 million, repo operations slipped 15.95% to AZN 244.118 million, derivative financial instruments dropped by 72.45% to AZN 954.253 million.
