Banks of Belarus testing settlements in national currencies with Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan

A number of Belarusian banks are conducting settlements in Azerbaijani manats and Uzbek sums in a test mode, said Chairman of the Board of the Republican Union of Tourism Industry of Belarus, Philip Guly, Report informs referring to Russian media.

“This process is only starting, and can bring us closer to the dream of ten years ago - settlement in national currencies, moving away completely from the dollar with friendly countries within the CIS,” he added.
