Baku Stock Exchange turnover down over 2%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in 2022 amounted to 14,947,985,000 manats ($8.79 billion), decreasing by 2.3% from the previous year, Report informs.

Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has decreased by 11.2% to 10,501.

State securities accounted for 8,312,835,000 manats ($4.89 billion), or 55.6% of the BSE turnover, 14.1% less than a year earlier.

The value of transactions in the corporate securities market increased by about 92.8% to 1,574,691,000 manats (over $0.93 billion) during the reporting period, and repo transactions went down 29.7% to 5,060,458,000 manats (about $3 billion).
