Azerbaijani banks strengthening information security

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has developed and presented relevant rules to strengthen information security in local banks, Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) chairman Zakir Nuriyev said, Report informs.
According to the rules, banks must adapt their internal information systems to the security standards and report to the CBA.
“Work is underway in this direction, and we, as the ABA, are trying to support the implementation of this policy of the CBA,” Nuriyev added.
