Azerbaijan's state budget surplus up by nearly 20%

In January-April 2025, the revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 13.96 billion manats ($8.2 billion), and expenditures amounted to 10.96 billion manats ($6.45 billion), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
These are 24.8% and 2% more, respectively, compared to the same period in 2024.
Budget revenues were implemented 1.6% more than the forecast, and budget expenditures were implemented 2.1% less than the forecast.
As a result, a surplus of 3 billion manats ($1.77 billion) was created in the budget in four months, 19.65% more than a year ago.
