Azerbaijan increases average monthly pension by 60% over past three years

Expenditures on pensions in 2018-2020 rose by 36% to AZN 4.5 billion, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
According to the Ministry, the amount of the average monthly pension increased by 60% to AZN 330. As well, the amount of the pension for age went up 54% to AZN 361, for disability – by 66% to AZN 290, for losing a family head – 63% to AZN 267. The minimum pension grew by 82% to AZN 200.
The subsistence minimum made up AZN 190, the criterion of need – AZN 160, which are respectively up 23% and 38%.
