Azerbaijan gets more than 11% growth in currency reserves year-on-year

As of July 1, 2019, Azerbaijan’s currency reserves stood at $48,403,100,000 with SOFAZ accounting for 87.7% or AZN 42,463,700,000, and CBA for 12.3% or AZN 5,939,400,000.

In the second quarter of 2019, the currency reserves increased by $2,351,200,000 or 5.1%. SOFAZ’s currency reserves went up $2,190,400,000 or 5.4%, CBA’s currency reserves – by $160.8 million or 2.8%.

Year-on-year, the currency reserves grew by $4,854,300,000 or 11.15%. SOFAZ’s reserves ascended by $4,427,600,000 or 11.6%, CBA’s reserves – by $426.7 million or 7.7%.
