Azerbaijan earns 119M manats from privatization in ten months

Privatization of state property in Azerbaijan generated 118.8 million manats ($70 million) for the state budget in January–October of the current year, an increase of 9.8% compared to the same period in 2024, Report informs, citing the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the data, 46 privatization auctions were held during the reporting period, 7% more than a year earlier. The auctions resulted in the privatization of share packages from seven joint-stock companies (up 16.7%), four small state enterprises (down 33.3%), one unfinished construction site (none in the same period last year), and 929 vehicles (up 76.95%).
