Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund reveals amount of compensation paid so far

The Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) has paid over 1.494 billion manats in compensation for 15 years of its activity, Report informs.

The total number of depositors to whom compensation was paid is 53,800 people.

ADIF was established on the basis of the Law on Deposit Insurance, adopted by the parliament on December 29, 2006, and the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on February 9, 2007, and has been operating since August 12, 2007.
