Atabank and Unionpay International Co. ink on partnership

Baku. 28 August. REPORT.AZ/ On August 28, a ceremony of signing of the partnership agreement between AtaBank OJSC and UnionPay International, one of the world’s leading payment services provider.

Within this cooperation operations with the cards emitted by UnionPay İnternational will be available in ATMs and POS-terminals of AtaBank OJSC.

It should be noted that founded in 2002 by the State Council of the People's Republic of China and National bank of the People's Republic of China, UnionPay is the world leader on number of the issued cards and on the volume of the transactions on cards.

Cards of the UnionPay İnternational are being accepted for payment in 162 countries of the world now. The number of cards emitted by UnionPay İnternational is about 5 billion, including, 70 million cards issued outside China in 40 countries of the world.
