Assets of Kapital Bank near 7B manats

Kapital Bank OJSC completed the first quarter of this year with a net profit of 50.405 million manats, Report informs.

This is 9.2% less than in the same period last year, according to the bank’s financial report.

In January-March, Kapital Bank’s income amounted to 227.694 million manats (33.5% more than a year earlier), expenses - 122.808 million manats (53.7% more), deductions to special reserves - 38.8 million manats (by 83.1% more), income tax payments - 15.68 million manats (12.7% more).

As of April 1, Kapital Bank’s assets amounted to 6.934 billion manats, which is 24.1% more than a year earlier. Of these, 2.524 billion manats are net loans issued to customers. Over the past year, the bank’s loan portfolio grew by 31.3%.

During the reporting period, the liabilities of Kapital Bank increased by 30.1%, to 6.387 billion manats, including the deposit portfolio increased by 34.7%, to 5.476 billion manats, while the balance capital decreased by 19.3%, to 547.604 million manats.
