Volume of ethylene, propylene and polyethylene production in Azerbaijan disclosed

In January-April 2025, 53,100 tons of ethylene were produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

Ethylene production in the country decreased by 5.9% compared to the same period of 2024.

As of May 1, 2025, there was a remainder of 1,200 tons of finished ethylene products.

During the reporting period, 51,000 tons of polyethylene and 46,000 tons of propylene were produced in Azerbaijan. Year-on-year, the production of polyethylene and propylene decreased by 6.4% and 13.7% respectively.

As of May 1, there was a remainder of 1,200 tons of finished polyethylene products and 900 tons of propylene products in the country.
