US positively assesses Azerbaijan's activities in development of green energy

The United States positively assesses Azerbaijan's activities in the development of green energy, US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Geoffrey Pyatt told reporters in Baku, Report informs.

"Large-scale projects in the field of green hydrogen are being implemented in the United States. During the visit, I heard about Azerbaijan's capabilities in wind and other types of green energy," he said.

According to Pyatt, American companies are leading in this area, and their experience and technologies can be used in Azerbaijan as well.

"We assess Azerbaijan's work in this direction very positively," the US Assistant Secretary of State added.

According to him, the energy systems of the world will change a lot in the next 50 years, and this is a very important moment for Azerbaijan.
