Transit oil transportation via BTC pipeline down over 7%

In 2021, 35.018 million tons of oil were transported via Azerbaijan’s main oil pipelines, 0.86% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
Last year, 75.5% of transportation or 26.421 million tons of oil were carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, 3.85% less compared to the same period last year.
Over the past year, more than 3.598 million tons of transit oil were transported via the BTC pipeline, which is 7.41% lower than in January-November 2020.
