STAR Refinery nearly triples jet fuel production

In April 2024, the STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 85,896 tons of kerosene (aviation fuel) for jet engines, up 51,956 tons, or 2.5 times more than in April 2023, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

In total, 396,431 tons of kerosene for jet engines were produced at oil refineries in Türkiye in February 2024, 12,824 tons, or 3.34%, more than in April 2023.
