STAR Refinery increases crude oil imports by over 35%

STAR Refinery, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkiye, imported 1,071,849 tons of crude oil in September 2022, up 280,746 tons or 35.5% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
The Refinery imported 719,103 tons of crude oil in September 2021.
In the reporting period, Turkiye-based refineries imported 2,984,449 tons of crude oil in total, up 140,998 tons or 4.96% from the previous year.
