STAR refinery accounts for 45% of total petroleum coke produced in Türkiye

The STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced over 63,874 tons of petroleum coke in September 2023, down 8,395 tons, or 11.6%, year-on-year, Report informs referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

The STAR refinery accounted for 44.9% of the total petroleum coke produced in Türkiye.

In the reporting period, a total of 142,200 tons of petroleum coke were produced at the Turkish refineries, 29,852 tons, or 26.6%, more than in the same period in 2022.
