STAR oil refinery doubles production of aviation fuel

In October of this year, the STAR refinery (NEZ), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkiye, produced 73,598 tons (+35,490 tons or 1.9 times) of kerosene fuel (aviation) for jet engines, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
In general, oil refineries in Turkiye produced 388,071 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines, which is 94,823 tons or 32.3% more than in October 2021.
