SOCAR’s STAR increases crude oil imports by 12% in October

STAR Oil Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey, imported 987,620 tons of crude oil in October 2021, up 110,063 tons or 12.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
This figure made up 23.48% of Turkey’s total crude oil imports.
In total, the country imported 2,893,200 tons of crude oil in October, 24.25% higher than a year earlier.
STAR Oil Refinery was inaugurated on October 19, 2018.
