SOCAR marking 15th anniversary in Georgia

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is celebrating its 15th anniversary in Georgia.
The company entered the Georgian market in 2006, the local bureau of Report says.
SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, a subsidiary of SOCAR in the neighboring country, said that Georgia was the first country, where the first gas station outside Azerbaijan was opened.
In addition, SOCAR is one of the largest investors in Georgia and the largest taxpayer for many years. The company has more than 4,000 employees in Georgia.
