SOCAR decreases oil production by over 1%

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 7.1 million tons of oil in January-November 2022, down 0.1 million tons or 1.4% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Energy Ministry.
In the reporting period, total oil production (including condensate) across the country made up 29.8 million tons, down 1.8 million tons or 5.7% from a year earlier. Of this, 18.7 million tons (-1.9 million tons or 9.2%) were extracted from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields, 4 million tons (condensate) (+0.2 million tons or 5.3%).
