SOCAR buys new gas pipelines in Georgia

SOCAR Georgia Gas, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in Georgia, has bought 94 new gas pipelines.
Report's Georgian bureau informs that by the decision of the Georgian government, the gas pipelines were sold to the company for GEL 24,177,326 ($8.3 mln).
The gas pipelines network covers the entire Georgia with most of them in Zestafoni, Kaspsk and Lanchkhutsk regions.
Under the deal, SOCAR Georgia Gas will fully repay the cost of the purchased property in 18 years.
