SOCAR announces amount of earnings from assets abroad 

In 2021, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) earned 7.804 billion manats ($4.59 billion) from assets in the country, Report informs, citing the consolidated financial statement of the company.

According to the statement, SOCAR earned 44.625 billion manats ($26.25 billion) from assets in Switzerland, 17.567 billion manats ($10.33 billion in Turkiye), 2.937 billion manats ($1.73 billion) in the UAE, 1.240 billion manats ($0.73 billion) in Georgia, and 3.358 billion manats ($1.98 billion) in other countries.

During the reporting period, the company’s income in Azerbaijan increased by 23.7%, in the UAE – by 32.1%, and in other countries – by 1.7 times.

Along with this, the earnings in Switzerland dropped by 46.4%, in Turkiye – by 2.3 times, and in Georgia – by 18.7%.
