Shah Deniz gas production up 6%

During the first six months of 2021, the Shah Deniz field produced 10 billion standard cubic meters (bcm) of gas and around 1.9 million tons (15.1 million barrels) of condensate in total from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms, BP-Azerbaijan said in a statement, Report informs.
These figures are, respectively, about 6% more and the same compared to the same period last year.
The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 70 million standard cubic meters of gas per day or more than 25 bcma.
