Serbia resumes lubricant supply to Azerbaijan

In the first two months of 2022, Azerbaijan imported 9,318 tons of lubricants worth $16.82 million, respectively, up 86.7% and 65% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 1,547 tons ($3.92 million) from Turkiye, 907.11 tons ($3.36 million) from Germany, 2,909 tons ($3.05 million) from Russia, 2,191 tons ($1.72 million) and 238.59 tons ($773,180) from Belgium.
After two years and a month, Azerbaijan resumed importing lubricating oils from Serbia.
In January-February 2022, Azerbaijan exported 3,394 tons of lubricating oils worth $3.73 million, respectively, down 29% and up 22.7% from a year earlier.
The country exported 2,532 tons of lubricants ( worth $2.61 million) to Turkiye, 365.88 tons ($566,860) to Iraq, 317.99 tons ($286,000) to Ukraine, 131.18 tons ($185,250) to Lebanon, and 20.1 tons ($33,380) to Moldova.
