President: Karabakh’s renewable energy potential is 9,000-10,000 megawatts

The liberated Azerbaijani territories have great potential for renewable energy, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the 230 MW Garadagh Solar PV Plant, which will be built in Azerbaijan by UAE's Masdar company, Report informs.

"Precise calculations have already been made, and the production of solar and wind energy can be about 9,000-10,000 megawatts," he said.
