Azerbaijan’s SOCAR has started storing the first 50 million cubic meters of gas in Hungarian storage facilities, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Facebook, Report informs.
Szijjarto stressed that Europe has been constantly facing serious energy shortages in the past year and a half. Due to the sanctions, prices have skyrocketed, and regular transport routes have ceased.
However, Hungary’s energy supply remained stable throughout, because the country always considered energy supplies as a physical issue, he said.
