One injured in fire at SOCAR ethylene-polyethylene plant

Today, a fire broke out at the ethylene-polyethylene plant of Azerkimya of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in the area of receiving and releasing gas products, according to SOCAR Downstream Management.
Report informs that, according to the original version, the fire occurred in the storage of raw materials.
"After the registration of the fire, the division of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. At present, appropriate cooling measures are being continued. One person was injured during the fire," the statement said.
