Nearly 1 bcm of gas transported through IGB

Since the start of commercial operations, 983 million cubic meters of gas have been transported through the Greece-Bulgaria gas interconnector (ICGB), which delivers Azerbaijani natural gas to Bulgaria, ICGB’s Executive Officers Teodora Georgieva said at the Baku Energy Forum, Report informs.
“ICGB is one of the constituent elements of the Southern Gas Corridor and is important for the European Union. The interconnector was launched last October. This means that the mentioned infrastructure was built when it was needed,” she said.
