Nakhchivan and Türkiye to exchange electricity

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Türkiye are set to embark on an ambitious plan to exchange electricity.
Tural Murtuzaliyev, Deputy Head of the State Energy Service of Nakhchivan, told Report's Nakhchivan bureau that a working group established by the order of Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, on August 3, 2021, has held several meetings with representatives from relevant Turkish institutions, discussing a range of issues.
The contract for the exchange is expected to be signed in the near future.
