MP: France's ban on Azerbaijani oil and gas exports is against EU’s interests

French Senate's resolution imposing a ban on Azerbaijan's oil and gas exports is directly against the interests of the French people, including the European Union (EU), a member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Javid Osmanov, said at the plenary session.

According to him, there are proposals about imposing sanctions on Turkiye along with Azerbaijan: "Today, at a time when Azerbaijan plays an important role in the energy security of the European Union, which calls Azerbaijan the most reliable partner country, France's act is not directly against Azerbaijan but against the European Union."
