As part of the creation of a gas hub in Turkiye, the possibility of building another pipeline to expand the Turkish Stream is not ruled out, Turkish Presidential Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin said in an interview with CNN Turk, Report informs.
“Now there is the Turkish Stream, it can be strengthened a little more and another pipeline can be made, and then a completely new energy map from east to west, from north to south can appear. If this happens, Turkiye won’t be just a gas transit country,” said Kalin, noting that it can turn into a country where the gas market and gas supply routes will be determined.
